Shipping Policy

Order Processing Times

  • Orders are processed within [1–2] business days, Monday–Friday, excluding holidays.
  • Orders placed after [2:00 PM MT] or on weekends/holidays begin processing the next business day.
  • During product launches or peak seasons, please allow an extra business day.

Shipping Options & Rates

  • Domestic (USA): Real-time rates are shown at checkout. Typical transit times:
    • Standard: 3–7 business days
    • Please call for overnight or expedited shipping. 
  • Alaska, Hawaii, U.S. Territories & APO/FPO: Carrier-calculated rates and extended transit times may apply.
  • International: Duties/taxes are [DDU – collected by the destination country] unless stated otherwise. Transit times vary by destination and customs.

Order Tracking

  • You’ll receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking when your order leaves our facility.
  • Tracking updates may take up to 24 hours to display after label creation.

Oversize, Freight & Restricted Items

  • Certain items (e.g., engines, transmissions, bumpers, axles) ship via LTL freight and may require a commercial address, liftgate service, or scheduling. We’ll contact you if your order qualifies.
  • Hazardous or restricted materials may have carrier limitations or ship separately.

Address Changes & Undeliverable Packages

  • If you need to change your shipping address, contact us at [service@tombstonediesel.com] immediately. Once an order is shipped, we’re unable to reroute it.
  • Packages returned to us as undeliverable (wrong address, refusal, unclaimed) will be refunded minus shipping costs, or reshipped for an additional shipping fee.

Lost, Stolen, or Damaged Shipments

  • Damaged on delivery: Keep all packaging and take photos of the box, label, and product. Contact us within [7] days of delivery so we can start a claim and arrange a replacement/refund as applicable.
  • Marked “Delivered” but not received: Please wait 24–48 hours, check with neighbors/household, and contact the carrier. If still not found, email us and we’ll help file a claim.
  • Lost in transit: If tracking shows no movement for [7] business days beyond the expected window, contact us to initiate a carrier investigation.

Signature & Insurance

  • For security, we may require a signature on deliveries over $[750] or for high-risk items.
  • All shipments are covered to the order value by the carrier or our insurer. Additional coverage may be available upon request before shipment.

Preorders & Backorders

  • If your order includes a preorder/backorder item, we will [hold the order and ship complete] or [split-ship available items first] (your choice—additional shipping may apply).
  • Estimated ship dates are provided on the product page and in your confirmation email.

Customs, Duties & Taxes (International)

  • International recipients are responsible for all import duties, taxes, and brokerage fees unless otherwise stated at checkout.
  • We cannot mark orders as gifts or undervalue shipments.

Billing & Verification

  • For your protection, orders may be subject to payment verification. We may contact you for additional information if needed.
